Pre-Care

Proper preparation helps ensure the best comfort and results from your areola tattoo session.

Before Your Appointment

1. Moisturize Daily

Moisturize the chest area for 1–2 weeks leading up to your appointment. Avoid applying lotion on the day of the procedure.

2. Avoid Caffeine & Alcohol (24 Hours Prior)

These can increase sensitivity and may affect your skin's response.

3. Avoid Blood Thinners

Do not take blood-thinning medications or supplements unless prescribed by your doctor. Always follow your medical provider’s guidance.

4. Avoid Sun Exposure

Do not tan or sunburn the chest area for at least 2 weeks before your session.

5. No Exfoliants or Active Skincare (1 Week Prior)

Avoid retinol, acids, scrubs, or exfoliating treatments on or near the chest.

6. Healing Requirements

The area must be fully healed after surgery—typically 3–6 months—depending on your provider’s recommendations.

For questions or concerns before your appointment, please contact your practitioner.
